Seller terms

These terms apply when you sell, consign an offer, or trade with Grail Nation LLC (“Grail Nation”, “we”) through this seller portal. By creating a seller account or submitting items you agree to them.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate contact details and keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account. We may decline any submission or close accounts that break these terms.

2. Submissions

• Every item must be exactly as described and pictured — name, size, condition, box and any flaws.
• You confirm you own each item and that it is 100% authentic.
• Offers are based on your photos and description and are final only after in-hand inspection.

3. Offers

• Offers are valid for 48 hours unless the offer says otherwise.
• If an item arrives in a different condition than submitted, we’ll message you with photos and a revised offer. You may accept it or have the item returned at your expense.
• Store credit offers are at least 10% more than the cash offer. Store credit never expires and has no cash value.

4. Shipping to us

• You pay for shipping to Grail Nation. Labels bought in the portal are charged at the carrier rate plus card processing.
• If you use your own label, you must add the carrier and tracking number in the portal. Items are your responsibility until delivered to us.
• Choose the box size that matches your shipment. Carrier adjustments for a heavier or larger box than declared are deducted from your payout, or charged to the card saved on your submission if there is no payout.
• Include the printed packing slip in every box.

5. Ship in for offer

If you decline our offer, we pay the return label for 1–3 items. For 4 or more items, the return label is charged to you.

6. Ship-in trades

• Pairs you select from our store are not held and are subject to availability. Your selections are priced at our store price when you picked them. If a selected pair becomes unavailable, we’ll offer a replacement or store credit.
• Your trade value is based on your photos and description. If your pairs arrive with flaws or differences not shown, we may revise the trade value; you can accept the revised value or decline and have your pairs returned.
• If your selections cost more than your trade value, you pay the difference (plus any applicable sales tax) by a Shopify invoice we email after your pairs pass inspection and authentication. If they cost less, the remainder is issued as store credit.
• We ship your traded-for pairs at no cost to you after your pairs pass inspection and authentication.
• If your pairs fail authentication, the trade is cancelled, nothing is owed, and your pairs are returned at your expense.

7. Authentication

Every item is authenticated and graded by Grail Nation. Items that fail authentication are returned at your expense and no payment is made. Our authentication decisions are final.

8. Payment

Cash payouts are sent by Zelle or PayPal to the details on your submission after inspection is complete. You’re responsible for giving us correct payout details.

9. Saved cards

When you pay in the portal, your card is saved securely by our payment processor (Stripe) for that submission so we can charge carrier adjustments or seller-paid return labels described in these terms. We never see or store your full card number.

10. Messages

Each submission has a message thread with our team. Keep messages about the submission; we may use photos you send to evaluate your items.

11. Community sourcing

Wanted requests are reviewed by our team before appearing on the sourcing board. Grail Nation acts as the intermediary on any deal; we don’t guarantee a pair will be found. Buyer identities and budgets are never shown to sellers.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you submit an item applies to that submission.
