How selling works
Everything happens in your seller portal: submissions, offers, shipping labels, messages with our team, and payouts.
1. Create your account and submit pairs
Add each pair’s name, style code, size, condition and box, plus photos: at least 4 for pre-owned pairs (front, back, sides, soles, size tag, box label, any flaws), optional for brand-new pairs. Selling a lot? Attach a spreadsheet or a Google Sheets/Docs link instead of typing every pair.
2. Pick how you want to sell
- Cash offer — we review your photos and send an offer within 24–48 hours. Accept it, ship your pairs in, and we pay you by Zelle or PayPal after inspection.
- Store credit — the same process, paid as Grail Nation store credit worth at least 10% more than the cash offer. Store credit never expires.
- Ship in for offer — no price upfront. Ship your pairs in, we inspect them in hand and send an offer. If you decline, we cover the return label for 1–3 items; for 4 or more, the return label is on you.
- Ship-in trade — pick pairs you want from grailnation.shop when you submit. We send a trade offer for your pairs. If what you want costs more, you pay the difference when you accept; if it costs less, the rest becomes store credit. Ship yours in; once we receive and authenticate them, we ship your new pairs to you free.
3. Ship it in
When it’s time to ship, buy a prepaid USPS or UPS label right in the portal — you pay the label cost plus card processing — and print your packing slip with its barcode. Prefer your own shipping? Choose “ship with my own label” and add the carrier and tracking number.
Pick the box size that matches what you’re sending. If the carrier charges an adjustment because the box is heavier or bigger than declared, it comes out of your payout — or, if there’s no payout, it’s charged to the card you used in the portal.
4. We authenticate and grade
Every pair is logged on arrival, authenticated by hand and condition-graded. See our authentication process. If anything differs from your submission, we message you with photos in the portal.
5. Get paid
Cash payouts go out by Zelle or PayPal once inspection is complete. Store credit is added to your account. Trades ship out once your pairs pass.
Messages
Each submission has its own message thread. Ask questions, send extra photos, and get updates from our team — no email back-and-forth.
Community sourcing
Looking for a pair? Post a wanted request with the size, condition, budget and how long to search. We check our store instantly and show you anything in stock. Approved requests appear on the sourcing board, where other sellers can offer the pair — we handle the deal in the middle, so buyers and sellers never see each other’s details or the buyer’s budget.
